I need help with handle bars... any ideas?

i have an 04 450r and the stock handle bars absolutely blow! i wanted some opinions for strong comfortable bars for mx racing. I also dont want to spend much more than $100 . thanks a lot

id suggest rockymountainatv.com then tusk chub bigbars - 50.00 then tusk oversize clamps- 35.00 plus 7 shipping

or if you dont want fatbars id reccomend pro taper se bars

go on ebay and search "tag x5 450r." I have these bars and they are strong and look pretty sweet because they come in anodized colors. I think red, black, gold, etc. The red looks perfect. I believe they are like 60 or 70 bucks

do you have to buy the clamps or u can use the stock clamps?

i got a set of FLY bars that were only $70 and are nice, comfortable and IMO should be bent to hell by now but they are holding up really well.

you can use stock clamps as long as you dont buy oversized bars. by the 7/8 not the 1 1/8

I have the Renthal 450r bend and they're decent. Nothing magical like Fasst, but they're straight rockin' compared to the stockers I just took off.

Honestly, I'd save up the money for some Fasst Co. Flexx bars. They are one of the best things I have ever purchased for any of my atv's. I have a set on all four of my quads and it was money well spent.
