Kelsey has been really working hard the past few weeks trying to over come the dreaded.... ARM PUMP.. :ermm:
Since we have had a very cold and wet winter, riding time all winter was NILL.
Alsng with following her MotoX Nutrition plan, seat time most every wk end from here on out that we can ride is on the menu.


the only problem is.... she has no one to race with at home. :(
Until today...:D

Kelsey just got to race her 1st MX with all the BIG DAWGS and all were MEN!:blah: she was the only mini taking on the 450's and BB's ! lol
Local Pro,B and a couple C class riders welcomed her to share the dirt with them as she HAD A FREAKIN BLAST!!:cool: :macho
Moto 1 she was actually in front of 2 450's for a bit :eek: but eventually they passed her up. :p
She didnt care, she rode SSSSSOOOOOOO GOOD!
The track was pretty rough,ALOT of sand and holes,a little bit like the last WORCS round actually .lol
not alot of jumps, but a great place to train.

The next round I can't wait to give her a big hug!!! She is such a great kid and I love how competitive she is . Don't ever lose that edge, Great personality, good family not to mention cute as a button. Girls rule!

She really looks up to Christian, and I know she looks up to you as well-two great guys helping her out so Im sure she will get on track soon!:D Coming from a parent, we all are just NAGS... lol!
Christian would be proud of her... No sugar, no soda ..She has been eating well balanced meals and she actually LOST 4 lbs.!:eek:
Not sure if thats good or not since shes so tiny as it is ,but its from riding and eating better.
She has been taking her supplements, but honsestly, today she was about gagged out from taking them for the last 48 hours .:o :p lol!!
Shes definately dedicated.She and Troy BOTH are making some habit changes.
Im very proud of them both.
BTW... Troy took a 4th today ,he rode very well and rode hard!!! :cool:
I think the coolest thing about today was she got to line up with her DAD! Side by side!!
How cool is THAT!

Pleasant Valley is having a GP next Sat. We had a GP yesterday, but it canceled due to rain -AGAIN..
Too bad you wasnt up for it yet. :( Kelsey would race with ya!:blah: :p LOL

We might hit it next wk end if there are any riders. We had 20-25 quads rounded up that would have come this wk end.
Theres also an mx in Glenns Ferry on Sunday that everyone wants to hit,so we will play it by ear.

Awesome job Kelsey!! It takes a bit to get used to taking supplements if your not used to it. The track conditions looked great. Where was that? How did Troy feel? Did he take some MXN as well?
Let's get caught up this week. Tina- Your pictures are fantastic as usual. We've got to get Kelsey off the seat more and the conditioning will help. Losing 4lbs, she just gained another horsepower. What's important, she's also learning healthy lifestyle eating habits. Great stuff. You guys are such a great family!!

She was actually off the seat a little more this race,but she def. has some weak back muscles to work on and I think she could use a taller stem or a riser,Troy was worried about how it will effect her handling on her quad,shes already feeling effects threw her bars as it is so were torn on that one...
As for Troy,he hasnt taken the supplement, he didnt robb Sis of hers,its more important she has it and money is def tight right now ,so he has been just making some diet changes and just riding when he isnt wrenching.

Timmy-Brandon had a good time too! Thanks for taking time to come hang with the kids, we all know it means a great deal to all the kids ;)

Chance-Kelsey DID notice a change in her stamina on Race 2 last week,I could see it!

She was pretty excited!

I think the funny part about the race yesterday it didnt faze her the least bit lining up with a bunch of advanced riders :p
She wanted the holeshot!:blah: LOL
I knew it wouldnt happen, but I like her determination.
Shes going to be great next season in the Womens class.

Hey Tina,

It's to bad you guys weren't closer. Her and Ash would have fun out there making those big boys chase them.

Wish you could make it up here the first weekend of April for Bob's NWQN series. Would be a great chance for her to ride there since Round 4 will be there a couple weeks later.

If you were able to come, I'm sure we could find a place to keep your stuff so you didn't have to haul it home and back here again.

Lining up with Ashley would be a blast for sure.
But only until the gate dropped :eek2:
Fun stops when your teenage daughter hands your ***** to ya, everytime she laps you :D :p :D :D hehehehehehe
