well after many nights of searching this site for color combos and pictures of them i decided to go with something that i really never saw a picture of... two weeks later after many long nights of sanding and preping and blasting and powdercoating(which by the way was totally done by myself :D) this is the final product!! minus the shock res. still hanging around...

I could not find the bushings and sleeves for my JD A-Arms so i bought a $3 piece of UHMW and made my own... Also made new steel sleeves for insides of the UHMW....

I'll be honest, when I saw the first pics, I thought it was going to look stupid, white frame and red swinger. But the final product is awesome, that's easily one of the best looking 250Rs I've ever seen.

Truly, that is so bad-*** that I'm ready to copy that exact color scheme. I have NEVER liked any set of graphics kits on any quad except that one. I've been looking for an awesome color scheme to do on my own quad, I just might have to gank your idea!

thanks for the idea of grease nipples... i had wondered about that since i got those arms... o well.. guess i will tear it down this weekend and do that... shouldnt be all that hard...

experimenting is absolutely right... quite honestly i was a bit scared when i brought everything home from my p/c booth and laid it out on the floor.. i thought o lord it is going to look WEIRD... but wilkin250r SAID IT ALL!!! THANKS!!

Bryan

wilkin250r you can take the sheme, not like i have a © on the colors or anything.... but, they will never be totally the same anyhow.. :macho

Your bike looks great! Your comment above...I was thinking the exact same thing when I brought all my powder back. I too did all the blasting and prep work, but the coating was done with me in the shop. The only thing is, I think I have one more color.

Nice build! Also - do you sell those A-arm bushings? Those are nice.

danhung11- it really made it a nice project to be able to do all the work myself... makes you feel really good about what you did... your quad looks sick as well.. i am not in the market to sell the bushings, it is a royal PITA to turn down UHMW... it is constantly gumming up your tooling and what not.... though it was pretty quick using the CNC Lathe... im just not interested in selling them at this time... but if i do i will let you know!!!

thanks man.

Please god tell me you can still buy that CT Racing graphics kit. I want it. I just bought all brand new full black plastic and i havent even taken the quad for a spin because i dont want to scratch it before i do something to protect it!

Where did you get it?

That is one sweet R, personally I would have went with all red powder coating. I want your quad and your car, that cobra looks mean.
