So we've recently been doing a winter rebuild on my 426. I bought a roller 400 that came with a massively ported head, and a 440 sleeve and piston, and i just went ahead and put that head on my 426. I figured i should probably put in the cam that came with it because it was prolly set up for it. It's a WhiteBrothers cam, idk what stage or set up, i just know it has W/B scratched into it. But anyways, got it all back together, and had some knick-knacking top end noises, only problem we can find is the slack on the cam sprocket. I need to know if it's made like this, or if there is some type of snap pin or what. the cam chain is tight, as are the sprocket hub bolts. thanks for any info.
