motor ticking

my motor was ticking so i adjustted my valves and it still does it possible a lil louder is this normal or what could it be it bothers the heck out of me

Im having the same problem with a buddy's of mine. I took the motor to TDC and adjusted the vavles. It still ticks like crazy all through the power band. Does anyone have any idea what it could be?

if the exhaust gaskets are wornout it will tick like crazy. mine did it and i replaced the little copper donut gaskets, problem solved.

there will be slight ticking from the valves even though they are properly adjusted, this is normal.

thank god im not the only im gunna order new gaskets when i pick up my valve plug tht i ordered whatever u do dont over tighten those plugs

It may be as simple as an exhaust leak...however it may be the cam chain and tensioners.

Thas guys. I bet its the a ex leak. Its missing one stud so that would explain why its leaking. I ordereda new stud and gasket just in case. Looks like im good to go.
