Just pick a color and go. I would personally pick the KFX or the KTM but thats just me.

Depends on the rider and riding style.

Different 450's shine under different conditions and rider types.

Lugger or Rev'r?
XC, MX, TT, Desert, Dunes, or General Rec?
Racer or Rec rider?
Height & Weight?

There's no one perfect 450. You have to pick the one that fits your style and porportions the best.

I've got the Kawi 450 and the KTM 525 and both are great machines. The Kawi just needs to be uncorked and geared a little better and it's good to go. The KTM is perfect from factory. So, IMO you can't go wrong with either of the two.

Oh yeah, sounds like you have enough experience to easily handle the 450. You will wish you bought the 450 if you didn't, trust me. ;)
