I know i had a real hard time climbing up hills with the stock gearing with 22in tires on a stock motor cause it would bog down pretty bad and i would barely make it up the hills i climbed but i decided to throw on a 14t and i climbed up the hills afterwards alot better than i did with the 15t and to be honest with you there was one hill i couldn't make cause of the short run you got before you hit the bottom of the hill and after i put on the 14t i could climb it liek nothing to it but before that i would only make it up about half way and bog so bad that i gave up so yeah i think acceleration is improved very much well aleast it was for me

I bought one for my 20 inch tires the exeleration made it alot better. If you have 18in tires the stock sproket works great.

i too, have a 14t with stock tires. IMO, it's perfect for where i ride, on trails, i would either be in too high of a gear and it'd bog, or too low and it would wind out. so i went to the 14t and it prevented both of those problems. now i am in the perfect gear, instead of running too high, or too low.

If you ride in wooded trails, hills, cross country, sand dunes then I recommend the 14 T sprocket. It will greatly increase your bottom end helping you come out of the turns and such. Rocky Mountain atv also has front sprockets for 7.00$. I have had mine for a year and a half and have not had any troubles with it.

Yes you can use the stock chain. But here is the trouble I ran into, my chain was strecthed pretty good and I ran out of adjustment on the rear carrier. I bought a new chain as to fix this, but you can also just take a grinder and remove a couple of links out of the chain and put in a new master link.

If I climb dirt hills in second would second be too low with the 14t sprocket, and will 3rd be too high of a gear, please let me know what you guys think?

If you are climbing hills in second and you are doing fine then leave it unless you are wanting to shift into third. The problem i was having was that second was plenty of power to climb hills but when i shifted to third i would lose all of the power i needed therefore making third useless. By switching to a 14 tooth my quad revs a lot quicker and i can now shift into third gear and have plenty of power to keep climbing. I don't think it will make second too low because it really isnt a dramatic difference.
