shocks?

can i run a long travel shock with stock a arm or do the ball joints bind and has anyone ever had works redo there stock shocks with different springs and valving?

You cannot run a long travel shock on stock arms. Long travel shocks are a near 3 inches longer. As for the other question i cant answer someone else will have to help you with that.

My buddy ran the works springs and I think the stockers rode better, but they were also not revalved. They would probably do OK revalved. For the price you'd pay for the works and then to ship them off somewhere for them to get revalved... I'd just send the stockers in to C&D or Derisi or GT Thunder personally...


Also no a LT shock will not work on ST arms, and vice versa. You need LT arms with LT shocks, ST arms with ST shocks. ST shocks can not be mixed between different quads either. LT in some cases can, but will need a revalve/respring to work. Just FYI.
