View Full Version : hmf jetting/jet needle?

im sure that this has been asked a million time but here goes any way i am installing a hmf slip on. stock air box, stock filter, stock head pipe. my question is am i going to have to change the piolt and or the needle also? im starting with a 155 keihin which is what hmf reccomeneds. on the hmf site they say that 99-04? 155 05-08 1?? and a 42 piolt did they change carbs? and do i need the change the piolt. my ride is a 99?

i'm pretty sure HMF recomends a 152 main and a 42 pilot. And I just looked and yes it is.

I even called them before to ask. I run a 155 main but I also have a K&N air filter with the lid removed. Depending on location, altitude, temperature... all plays a factor on what jet you need.
