Standard length steering stem???

I bought a standard length stem will it clear a over sized fuel tank? LSR brand.

I had to get a +2 to keep the bottom of it from rubbing the tank.

I did the same thing and it would not clear the top of the tank. I had to get an extended stem. Best of luck on a solution.
