250r vs rm 125

I rode an rm 125 today and it had some pretty hard pulling power. i wanted to know whats power pulls harder and which has more top speed an atv 250r or a rm125 dirtbike thanks and stok both

depends how modded the 250r is

The R would most likely win, it's got maybe 100 pounds more, and the RM is only 1/2 the size motor..

actually if u look at it jay on a dyno the 125 won't be under to much in hp... remember motocross bikes 2 strokes motor have takin a giant leap in technology since 1989... i think 125s are puttin out low 30s in hp now... i'll go look here at fmfs site to make sure...


the 125 will probably pull harder and rev alot faster then the 250 due to the smaller piston and peppier motor...
