How long are the stock shocks?

How long are the stock front shocks on the 400ex?

If you bought shocks that were valved for +3 arms and put them on stock arms what would that do?

Not sure on the exact measurement, but it will be in the 16 inch range. Somebody else on here probably can tell you that.

If you put those shocks on the stock arms it would be extremely stiff. I wouldn't ride on them that way myself. Your quad would handle a lot better with shocks set up to you/the quad.

The stockers are probably 16 1/4". I just don't know for sure it's not on Honda's website.

That is what I thought about the ride on the shocks.
(I am just looking around trying to find a new after market front shock setup with piggybacks. All I want is for them to be triple rate and have piggybacks, but come from a reputable company.
