kfx 450 on trail riding?

I am days away from goin out to purchase a kfx 450 i have sat on one but never rode it please tell me everything there is to know about the bike . I know the seat is very hard but is it comfotable on long trail rides and please inform me of any probelms with the bike suspension? engine? anything? all response is more than appreciated thanks ....andy

Seat is fine, unless your going to be on it more than ten minutes, especially trail riding. lol. Shocks are pretty good once dialed in for your type of riding. Check out other kfx450 forums and this one for all the info you'll need to know.

you will get used to the seat, i go on all day rides every weekend. also you will need to dial your suspension in, the back shock really needs it. other than that they are great for the woods reverse is a plus to.

yeah i hardly notice the seat being hard. now if i am riding for like 2 hours over nothing but rough stuff then it becomes noticalbe, but i have ridden all day on it and no probs. i think you will be very happy with the bike.
