View Full Version : cams 03crf ?Baldwin?

I have posted 2 thread in different areas asking about Baldwin XC cam. I have a 06 with yosh slip on an a HRC head pipe with the HRC sub harness and a new top end stock I am torn between the 03 crf and the baldwin cam. Next question does the 03 crf drop in or do i need to change things like valve springs timing chain gear. please help soon tring to finish it up to ride first sign of good weather.

well first the crf cam will drop in. I can't speak on the baldwin cam cause I haven't heard much about it but from what i've read and heard the 03 crf kicks arse in the woods looking for one myself would like to trade my stage 2 hc for one

Ok so when people say 03 crf cam is that the crf450r cam or x or f or whatever I dont know a whole lot bout the dirtbikes but I friend asked if its from a 250 or 450 and x or r

I have the Baldwin XC Cam and like it. I have heard it is a CRF cam or close to it, but can't remember the year. It is more of a mild cam, but for the woods, I love it. Call Toby at Moto-Xperts, he can get you setup.

i have an 03-06 crf450 cam ...and i think im gonna put it in this weekend.:D

thats what i paid for the 03 cam i got ..its was from mr. cycles. there are guys on flea-bay selling hrc cams OVER dealer prices. ONE GUY IS X/C BILL .....OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT. actually i wanted to tell him thats messed - up but thats his scam!! HAHA

yep. I am running one for XC and other than that, I just have a open box with a sparks filter and outerwares and then a Rossier system. More than enough power for XC and it doesnt tire you out that fast.
