Hey guys, pickin up an 03 yz450f this weekend. Needs fork oil seals and while I'm in there I wanna put the stock springs back in, because right now they have it set up for a 240lb rider ( I'm only 145)... So can anybody explain to me a little bit what all is involved in doing these seals and springs, and if I'm going to need any special tools?

Check out Factory Connection's website. They have info about maintenance, etc. It might even be worth a call.

Check out the YZ450 forum on Thumpertalk. That would be your best place to start if you want to do the work yourself. My WR needs some fork work and I'm letting someone else do it. There are too many things that can go wrong and a couple special tools you need.
