Rev limiter TRX 450 R

I understand it is possible to sever a specific wire on the harness leading to the ignition module allowing my TRX 450 to rev at a higher limit. Does anyone know what specific wire this is and the exact location of it???

First question would be, What year is your 450r.. I ask because I was going to do the same thing but that mod doesn't pertain to the 04 05's... only 06 and up... Its' called the Green wire mod... I don't have experience with it because i don't have a newer 450.... but search Green Wire Mod on here, I'm sure you'll find it.... i almost think there is a thread with pics on what wire to cut and where....

Wish I found that thread awhile ago, I bought the HRC "cdi sub harness". All it does is get rid of that one wire.

I think you only notice it if you have a different cam.If you have a stock cam dont waste your time.
