Steering Stabilizer NEED HELP

What kind of Steering Stabilizer/Dampener are you guys running on your 300s and where are you mounting them at? I am geting ready to buy one. Thanks every one

I'm getting ready to buy a precision because I've heard a few bad things about the stick type dampners...

It's coming from another guy who I believe ran it behind the stem.

Sooo..
I know what one is.. but what exactly does it do, and where do you mount one? I am a newb (kind of) to the upgrade part of the market.
