The 400 is getting due for a seat cover and I'm having a hard time picking one out.

1) I'm not big into graphic kits so any cover that is part of a kit is out.

2) The grip covers make me wonder if they would be uncomfortable when you're actually sitting. I've had them on bikes but not quads.

3) Would a seat with some flare like in the picture below look good on my quad or would it just open the door to flamer jokes? Is Verde Powersports a good place to get a cover?

4) Is going OEM a smart choice? I just wish you could get it without the warning on the rear

Thanks for any input.

The Verde cover would look good on your bike since the blue flames would match the frame nicely. I wouldn't call you a flamer for it, but I'm not one of your riding buddies. lol. :D

The bad thing about Honda, is that they don't offer just the cover. You have to buy the whole seat. I get my parts 10% over dealer cost, so I plan on buying a black factory seat for mine in the future, however, since you'd probably have to pay full retail at your dealer, aftermarket would be the way to go.

or you can go down to your local upholstery shop and they can custom make you a cover to match your bike.. my local shop charges about 110 -120 to do this... but it comes out goodddd

Seat covers are easy to put on yourself so you could deduct the 30 dollars all you need is a electric stable gun and some patients.

i have made my own from vinyl that i got from wall mart (i miss spelled on purpose) and i just use a regular carpenter stapler. i also like dmp and duncan covers. i'm selling my old duncan cover that has a 1'' burn on the rubber part by the tank but it didn't go through. $10 shipped to the us

I LOVE the look of it. It's extremely comfy. And if you want to know where I got it, eBay (its the best!)

Also, its very high quality! Its been through about 100 hours (est.). Mud and grit, water, dust and dirt. It holds up great!

Just ordered the ATV-H07 from Hydro-Turf. They don't have a 400ex pic but it's the same color layout as the one below. I'm getting Royal Blue instead of the Red and keeping the Black the same. Thanks for the web site Brian. I'll keep you guys posted.
