I was in my school library looking around and i found the guinness book of world records for 2003. One paragraph even sorta puts down quads. Here are the articles:

GREATEST DISTANCE JUMPED ON A QUAD BIKE: The longest jump on a quad bike (a four wheeled motorcycle or atv) is 134 ft. (40.9 m) over 14 Honda crv vehicles by Matt "kangaroo kid" Coulter at RAF Bentwaters in Sulfolk, UK, on April 17, 2000. Quad bikes are more dangerous than normal bikes because they are twice as heavy and therefore harder to control.

HIGHEST SPEED ON A QUAD BIKE: Graham Hicks (UK) reached a top speed of 99.26 mph on a customized 500cc quad bike at Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground, Leicester, UK, on May 21 2001. Hicks, who is deaf and blind, drove the vehicle over a quarter-of-a-mile coarse while Matt Coulter (Australia) rode pillon behind him, promping him by means of touch.

It showed a pic of the kangaroo kid on a 400ex with someone on the bike with him that's sitting in front of him. I'm guessing it's when he rode with the blind dude.

i heard that he jumped longer, but it was not officialy recorded. i heard he jumped over 150 feet. rumors?:confused:

that might be the longest jump LANDED by Kangaroo kid, he crashes alot, i hear he might try to jump over a Florida Peir next year, its 150ft, it was in an older dirtwheels about beachracing

That kangroo guy is still riding? I thought he was done riding. Iv'e seen a video of him clearing a bunch of tractor trailers and that was way over 150 feet. And then the airplane, that wasn't high but it was kool!

uuuuuummmmmmmm yes legally i am i have worst than 20/500 vision i cant see words 1 foot away from my face so yes i am blind, without my contacts, and my vision worstens everyday

THats wrong because theres quads that can do over 99mph.I bet theres some one out there that can do over a 140 foot juup or what every feet jump it was.

ok, no flame but the guy was fricken blind and deaf....yes quads go that fast, but would u go 99 if you were blind and deaf lol.

that is what i was wondering the first time i read this but didnt want to post it because of the barrage of $hit i would be taking for saying something "useless and unimportant"

Matt Coulter is awesome, that 140 foot jump was with a FLAT LANDING!!! He has jumped 180 feet with a landing ramp, and jumped 210 feet over a steamboat. He didn't land it though. All of this was on his website.

yea, thats what i thought, i thought he set the record with 180ft, and i thought the steamboat jump was 250ft. i saw a video of him the first time when he hit it, that was crazy, the 2nd time he got 50ft in the air and bailed, what an idiot:eek: but he is freakin awesome:devil

Quads go faster than that but the guy was BLIND and DEAF.

That step up in "Huevos 1" that matt did was 180' and i watched a show on tlc about insane stunts and they said matt coulter did just over 200 feet. To verify this i e-mailed him and he said it was true but un-official.
