Jetting for 416

What jetting do you guys suggest for a 416 with clean u port, 3 ange valv job, hotcams stage1, and DMC pipe. I want toget it as close as possible so i dont have to take the carb of 50 million times to rrejet. i think i got a stock pilot ( 38 ) and my main is 146. i know, im running rich but my plug is black and my head and top of piston was full of carbon. I got the K & N jet kit but it doesnt come with different pilots so i'll see if i can get on at the local shop.

So wich main and pilot do you suggest and i am 8 ft above sea level.

42 pilot, 4th clip down on needle 170 main k@n with vents. stock jets not dyno jets. i should be using a 168 main. i would suggest a 165 for you with a stage 1

thanks man. You think ishould go with a 42 pilot and start with a 165 main? how far above sea level are you?

i am about 45 min north of philly so i am at se level i think.

when i had the 42 pilot and stock clip with a 165 main my header was glowing.

i went up one down on the clip and 168 no probs. the 170 is beacuse it is really cold now. i need to put more vents in my lid though and should prob go back to a 168

do youhave a full system or a slip on?

i have a full eaxhaust with 12 uni vents in my airbox lid.
