Parking brake block off- do you have to grind the pin on the inside of the caliper to make this work?

i would say no, but i have heard of some plates that require it...

The Tusk block off plate I bought from www.rockymountainatv.com didn't require any modifying and it came with an o-ring and fasteners

I have a tusk plate sitting in the garage waiting to be installed. It has been too cold and snowy to do anything. Tusk makes good stuff though, I have a few other parts from them and like them.

I have the same one :D Most block offs will have a relief hole for the pin machined into it already.

I think I have a James Lucky one... had to grind a bit off.

I'm pretty sure I put new aftermarket pads on at the same time so that may be why grinding was neccessary.

Most people remove the parking brake assembly because it can be very difficult to keep it functioning properly.

The block off plate covers the area of the rear brake caliper where the parking brake assebly is mounted. Cleans things up at the rear end too.
