Good info,I was thinking why a 250r when honda already has the
youth production class in every event that I can think of rapped up with the 300ex.Joke are not 250 race quads are just around the corner, again.I say let the 250r quad war begin just like the 450r battle,it can only help.
How about a old school 250r frame design made of carbon fiber with a new F/I e-tec 2 stroke motor or a 4 stroke hemi.

It is not totally illegal to build one it just has to pass all state and federal emission test, and that can be done if they wanted to spend the time and money. As we know it's just easyer and cheaper to do 4 strokes at this time. One of the outboard motor
builders has a 2stroke motor that can pass all emission test, maybe atv builders should look and listen to that motor company, very high tech.It seems that the goverment has a wide line on 2strokes some oversea companys can export them to the us some can't.
Besides all that ,it was just a dream quad and I can have whatever I want in my dreams!lol
Does this mean I can't have my carbon fiber frame either?:D

I believe you can sell/import two strokes if they are used only for competition on closed courses(tracks) I could be wrong about that.

I say ban all 2 strokes except 250 dirt bikes and 250r.
