I PUT 18s ON MY 400 IN THE BACK AND HAVE BEEN WANTING TO MAKE UP FOR THE 10% REDUCTION WITH A GEARING CHANGE. I THOUGHT ABOUT GOING WITH A 16 FRONT BUT DID NOT WANT TO REMOVE THE CASE SAVER.

IF ANYONE IS IN THE SAME BOAT I AM, SIDE WINDER SPROCKETS HAS A 34 TOOTH REAR!!! IT TOOKME FOREVER TO FIND SOMEONE WHO MADE ONE. THAT MEANS SAFE CASES AND ADDED CLEARANCE IN THE REAR WITH STOCK TOP SPEED CAPABILITIES!!

JUST THOUGHT I'D PASS THAT ALONG.

If you are really carefull, you can take a little grinder and grind out your case saver just enough to use a 16 tooth sprocket and still use the case saver. Been using that setup for 3 years without trouble yet.

Baldwin make a case saver that accomodates a 16 counter.

I heard you can fit a 16 tooth front Sproket with a case saver but it is very hard. The person said the case saver and the sprocket has to be put on almost like it is in one peice. I am not sure on this it is just what i heard.
