crf top end gasket kit

I'd like to use a CRF head gasket on a '04 450R to bump the compression up in conjunction with a 11.5:1 piston. This should get the compression around 12.1:1 I believe. My question is, can I order a top end gasket set for a CRF and then use the CRF's base gasket also? Would this change compression more?

The other thing I was pondering was buying a Cometic top end gasket set for a 450R and then taking 1 of the 3 layers off the head gasket. Does anyone know any info about this also?
