WTF? Shocks are setup for whatever you weight. The weight range isn't limited unless your so big you can't ride.

I don't know what the heaviest you can pump them to but i can tell you when i get home from work and get the manual out, i am 205 and my buddy is 285 and he has not bottomed them out when we set them up for him to ride, i thnk the evol chamber is not to exceed 300psi but like i said i dont have the manual in front of me.

just bought some for sons 250r.i was told they are 50lbs range on the valving. son weights 110lbs so the shocks are 100 to 150lbs on the valving of the shock.unliment on the weight of rider.if this makes sence to you.

The weight range is 120 to 240lbs. Says right in the manual!

Dude would you stop throwing all this BS around to everyone. Where in the manual does it say this. You are not talking about the Fox Air or the Fox Evols. The Fox Evols have air adjustable valving, rather then the traditional set valving from the maker. When the Fox Air shocks are shipped they are set-up for a 185lb all round rider. When they ship the Fox Evols they will set them to your weight, but it is only a starting point. You then have to fine tune it to your liking. You tune the Evols to the riders weight by adding or subtracting air from the main chamber. I am 6'6" and weigh about 230 full gear. I could not be more pleased with these shox.

So for all of you that are confused or just wanted to know, the Fox Evols are pretty much unlimited on weight. I also have a friend that is 350+ in full gear and rides MX. I have seen him hit 20 footers to 80 footers and some nasty whoops without ever bottoming them out after I got them set-up. I also have a friend that might weigh 110 full gear (it's a girl) and the shocks are the same. Nothing different in the two other then the amount of air.

If you don't beleive me just call Fox and ask them 1-800- Fox Shox. And when you have questions like this remember the companies have phone numbers for a reason. Not that no one on the forums know what they are talking about, but there is a whole lot of bs to sort through.

I hope this helps and if you have anymore tuning issues and you dont wanna bug Fox shoot me a pm and I'm sure I can help.

Sorry about that, it says 140 to 200lbs. I was just going off of the top of my head. When they set up your shock and ask you wieght from fox, they use that weight to go ahead and put your starting air pressures in the shocks.

That is for the Evol's. They may have a greater range than this because it's just referring to a starting point for different riders.
