Shorty Pipe, How do I pack it?

I have a Sparks shorty (custom made) and they sent me new packing with my new core. But the packing is like one big wrap around pillow thing and if I cut it, the packing will go everywhere, so is there a type of packing I can buy and CUT to make it the size of the shorty?

i use msr's silent sport string packing and i love it. the length of the canister makes no difference when using it.
