It was meant to be a bit of levity not a satirical comment.
Anyway what do you think of the hybrd?
I like the power now and the low cost of maintenance for the two stroke vs the four stroke it had in it originaly.
I spend a lot less time wrenching and more time riding now.
no valve adjustments and the power is as it should be for a big bore quad.
I added a 16oz stealthy flywheel wieght and it smoothed out the hit and made it more fun to ride....
still breaks loose but is more controlable if that can be said of a 500cc two stroke quad.......LOL

great job !!! I have 300 hp with a 330 big bore and it rocks , 500 cc that just crazy. If my motor blows I am thinking of putting a suz 500 in it .

The frames on these gas gas are the strongest ones out there hands down and make a great hybrd.

I chose the kawi motor because of the power valves and the weight of the engine and it's placement in the frame was correct for the C of G center of gravity.
It has been one of the best choices for a repower that I have done so far.
The 330 sounds great for a quad.
I am very happy with the new power and balance of this combination.
If you are thinking of a swap look at a valved motor first and then give me a ring I would be happy to be of any help I can.

the vibration is about the same as with the four stroke.
I believe the flywheel weight may have some thing to do with this.
I put a sthealy 16 oz weight on it.I did not have to cut the swinger at all but I did have to make a off set dog bone link to mount the motor so it would line up with the sprockets.the engine had to be more to the left.I also had to remake all of the forward mounts and weld in some mid mounts under the engine.
The pipe was the major deal.I had to buy two fmf fatty pipes and then section weld them into one pipe.four days of measuring and cutting and hand shaping.

Does anyone want to do a trade for my gasgas 450 wild with the kx500 two stroke in it?
my son wants to move up from his blaster and I don't want him to ride this power junkie when I am not home it is just to much quad for him to keep sneeking out of the shed when I am not home!!!!
I would be interested in a gasgas 300 wild
or a gasgas 125 wild
for him or a slower four stroke like a yzf450 or kfx450 or a honda trx450 or kf400 or a ex400 or ltz400
or similar quad like a raptor 660 or 700raptor
somthing slower like I said.
If anyone wants to do a trade let me know.
Or we would like to sell his decked out mx blaster or trade it.

The five hundred is gone...............sorry to see it go ,but it went to the right guy.Thanks Greg!!!Now my son has a 300 wild to ride and I don't have to worry about it while I am at work and he just loves it!!!!!He is one proud kid.He has shown the 300 to every kid he knows.Thanks to all who asked about it and sorry I did not have one for each of you who asked about it.:p :p :p :p
