I have a fmf powerbomb header and a powercore muffler. The muffler is too loud. What muffler would be quieter and fit the header? I am not too worried about performance at all. Will the stock muffler fit on the headpipe? I don't want to do that but I am desperate.

If anyone has a quieter muffler in good shape I would gladly trade mine for yours!!!!

I have 2 stock mufflers... 1 is black and the other is brushed (looks like the stock 450r silencers)

Will they fit the powerbomb header?

Anyone else have any idea on an aftermarket one?

You could try the FMF Q series silencers. They are supposed to deliver decent performance (which I know you aren't worried about) without being overly loud. Basically any slip on silencer will fit on your Powerbomb since it is designed to be sold as just a header.

He is right. Any slip-on should fit your header. However, the header could make a slip on's advertised sound levels be off, as they are calculated with the stock header.

so, the stock silencer will fit on the powerbomb header?

I have been told the end is the exact same size as the stock header size. So therfore it should fit.

Yeah it should fit. FMF makes all their stuff interchangeable, That way if you buy a slip on you could add the header later. Should be good to go.
