I just got a 94 300ex pretty stock came with cobra pipe,k&n filter drilled airbox lid,,what jets should be in the carb to get the best out of it,,would a 400 carb work? or just jet the 300 carb,,don't want to put alot of cash in this,,,just want to ride it,,mostly trails,,,any help at all would be great,,,,thanks

first i would get a new pipe cobra's dont make that much power an make alot of unnecisary noise.i would stick with the stock carb if u dont want to spend alot of money an put a 128 main jet in it.

iunno any really cheap pipes but i have the fmf q2 full system an it was only $280

Depends on how many disks you're running on your Cobra. 130 w/ needle raised 1 position (clip down) and fuel screw out 2-3/4 turns would be my starting point.

woould I just be better off with stock pipe and k&n and lid...would it still need jetted?

i would do that if u dont want to spend much money becuz u wont gain much power from that exaust..if u left the lid on even with the k&n it wont need jetted..but if u remove the airbox lid i would jet it
