This is a 1987 cr250r that I recently bought about a year ago. I bought the bike for $400 bucks. I picked it up from a guy who worked at a bike shop, and he told me it needed a CDI box to get her running.
I didn't relize how hard it is to find parts for these bikes. I lost the motivation to work on this thing, So now its been sitting in the shed for awhile.
The things I know this bike needs, is a front brake assembly, a cdi box, im sure it needs a new clutch, and the kickstart slipps sometimes (common with old bikes) .
This bike can still be restored with a little work..... But would certainly make a great parts bike... The carb looks really new, as with the rear tire and a few other things. This bike was definitly ridden recently before I bought it.
Im asking $250 for it.... Possible negotation. If this bike doesn't sell, it will be parted out.
