ok so i wanna get my head ported the guy at the atv shop said it would take him like 6 hours and hes not the best says i should find someone like trinity to do it what should i pay for this service and also is it really worth it im going to a 440ex from a 400

Porting can produce HP gains if done correctly! OR reduce HP (where you want it anyhow) if done wrong.

I would NEVER let someone port and polish unless they have a proven reputation and experience porting YOUR engine and YOUR riding style.

Well worth the extra $$$ for the right person!

Send the head to C&D and let them work on it!

Getting a good port jiob can help your 4wheeler greatly. But like said above i would take it somewhere to get it done right.
Sparks duncan cand d and chad502ex all do really good port work. And you are looking between $400 and $500 for them to do it. But it would help you out quite a but if you got it done with the right mods to go with it.
