the best place I think is right on the top of the hood key in middle then the other on each side

I zip tied my key to the cluster of wiring and cables that come up along the stem and then zip tied the dummy light up to the bars themselves so I could see it

haha nice. But one thing. Who can see that temp light when you are riding hard and it gets muddy? See IDK, i dont look for my light cause i dont have one! Cut my fan wire, grounded, ditched the light. No worries over here for that. As for the key, i got rid of it. No need for it for me.

i mounted my lights on the hood on the edge closest to the handlebars, kind of on the lip that angles back to you as your sitting on the bike. but as for my key, i zip tied it to a cross memeber on the frame below the head lights. you cant see it unless you get under the bike and look. then i stuck my key in and loosely zip tied to the frame so that it didnt fall out. its a neat place to mount it and you can come up with lots of answers for when people ask what your doing when you reach under to your bike and all they hear is a click..... ill try to get some pics when im on spring break next week
