how do i make my trx450 handle like my 400ex did but keep stock width any input would be helpful thanks.

well there's a few options, but first off what year is your 450r?

If its an 06+, then you can swap your front end with an 04/05 because they handle better. Also getting your shocks revalved to your specific weight/riding type will make a huge difference. Depending on your budget, you could buy XC a-arms and use revalves or aftermarket shocks. Have a browse in the parts for sale section of the site, there's usually some deals on stuff like this.

i have a 05 and i ride in the woods thought about having my shocks revalved and resprung from Works i've adjusted my stockers all through the range and it doesn't handle even close so my 400ex most of my budget goes to my sons racing so any inexpensive upgrades are helpful

if your willing to pay for the revalves, i would go with that, it makes the shocks act like aftermarket, and should out handle the 400ex

well get the shocks redone, and replace the rear shock linkage. thats the cheapest way to get better handling.
