DASA has one out I would say Rossier or Dasa would be the best at the moment

I installed an LRD and pulled the airbox lid. really made a huge difference. Never even cut the pink wire.........yet.

How much power did you get from the lrd

That's hard to say, but it was way more than I expected. More than I've noticed from adding a pipe to any other quad I've owned.

I think I might wait for the sparks exhaust because they are putting the most testing into the exhaust.... Sparks wont even release it until they get the Power Commander and do testing. The rest of the comanies just designed one off cutting the pink wire or using the hmf programmer that isnt that adjustable.

Anyone else think the same?

Thinking about purchasing the DS 450. I see motoworks has an exhaust system out for this quad. Anyone know how it stacks up compared to the others mentioned?

The motoworks pipe will be a soild pipe they have been out the longest and have tested with them on all of the team motoworks/Can-Am team they never broke a pipe that i know of and are below 99db for those who need to be quite I raced the can-am with motoworks with dillon zimmerman at the 8hr team race and i loved the power it produced. you wont be dissapointed with motoworks at all!

After talking with the sales guy at Epic Racing about options I took the plunge on the FMF Mega bomb and 4.1 system setup. I got the quiet core insert as well so hopefully it will be ok at Oregon. It definatly is not a quiet system though i love the sound of it

From what I understand the FMF is working real well and you should be ok with the quiet core as far as sound goes. The exhaust manufacturers are being real diligent about sound levels these days so you should be good.

From what I hear the use of the megabomb header not only helps to quiet the sound a bit, but also helps to unlock the low end power quite nicely.

It's one of the small advantages Can-Am engineered using the crossover exhaust path in that they were able to have a longer head pipe with really helps tuning the exhaust pulse.

Who knows which is better just cause one pipe makes good horsepower lets say a honda doesnt really mean its gonna be the same as say can am

I put installed my rossier exhaust last night but I didnt get to ride it yet. But it is really really loud!

I dynoed my quad at my work yesterday before I put the exhaust on. I had the pink wire cut, baffle out, and lid off and it made 35hp and 21.5 ft lbs torque at the back wheels. I have my air box cut but it needs to be cut more because it made more power with the seat off.

How much power are you loosing with the seat on?

Its really hard to explain unless you are looking at the dyno charts. With the seat off it started making more power but it also leaned it out a little bit so once the power commander comes in and I can richen the air/fuel mixture up I will put it back on the dyno and I will let you know how much more it makes with the seat off. But it wont be acurate to yours because I already cut my air box a little bit but ill tell you the best I can.

ds450 have you ridden it yet with your exhaust on? I am just trying to figure out which is the best one right now. FMF, Ron Woods, Rossier? I even think LRD has one too, could be mistaken. Which one are the teams using?

There are several can am teams and some are using rossier, fmf, and motoworks as far as i know. Last year the one team used curtis sparks but now they arnt.
