FMS Race at Badlands MX (Texas)

Any of you guys on here racing this weekend at the Badlands? I haven't decided if I'm racing or not. Just wondering what the turnout is going to be like. I haven't ridden at the Badlands since my last crash there, so I need to get back there sometime. I just hate the waiting around during the FMS races (22 classes @ 2 motos each).

hey, whats up? Last saturday night at Badlands in the first moto I wrecked and hurt my ankle on the choice triple. but, I'll be there thursday and saturday.

well, that sucks. how's the ankle? i still haven't made a decision on whether or not i'll be there, but if you're going to, i'll be leaning toward going.

Ankles OK, Got my raptor rear shock on now, no more seat bounce i hope, but I'll be there to close to the house not go. I can stand in my garage and see the light around the track. If you can come out tomorrow night.

I'm leaving in about 5 minutes. See you guys there hopefully. MY R will be sitting at the concession stand with some 4-Sale signs on it.

edit: Just got home. Left the track at 12:35 and pulled in my driveway at 2:05. Not too bad. Buzzy did you see that SUV that wrecked? Pretty wicked. Nice to finally meet you. Good racing :macho

FMS stands for Full Moon Series. It's a North Texas racing series, which is actually very similar to the North Texas Night Series, only the FMS is a fall series, and the NTNS is the Spring/Summer series. It's one of the larger dirt bike/quad combo series in the south.

Yes, the Badlands (http://www.badlandsmx.com) is a track, and the owners of that track run the series, as well as the Texoma Quad Racing Association (http://www.tqra.com). Most of us North Texas riders on EXriders.com race one or all of these series.

I'm almost posotive I'll be there, but I don't think David will be there. I think he said he had some other things to do that weekend. If I go, it'll be me and Daniel and I"m gonna try to get my girlfriend to go but that probably won't happen.

Anyways, hopefuly this time I'll have a little better luck out there. Although I haven't ridden in a while so I'll prolly be SLOOOOOOOOOW.

I'll prolly try to race Novice for the TQRA series, cause the Intermediate class was killin me and I'm slower now than I was then.

This is Canton weekend. I have to pack all of our crap back into our trailer on Sunday, or I would go. It just took us from 10am-4pm to get it all unloaded. Supposedly, this is going to be a good weekend for sellers.

well I'l be at Villiage sunday just gotdone putting the motor back into the frame on the old EX so its almost ready to go.
It will be my first race back sine Fourstates so I will be rusty.
