Hey visit Ricky Stators website or call him nice guy. but I can tell u this your stock stator can only handle I think up to 60 watts (I could be wrong) So in other words u can run one 55watt aftermarket light or ur stock lights. There is one other way that is if u buy two HID lights (true HID) they only run 35watts per bulb. Kindy pricey at around $400 per light. If u light to ride at night I like I and have lots of green Go for HID. I Have 2 8inch HID on my 400 and love it. I can get some pictures if u want to see. so good luck.

i finaly got my honda service manual and it says it puts out 123 watts at 5000 rpm. so that answers my question for what i want to do. no it can't handle the load.

Hey the stock stator u said only puts out 123 watts, remember about half of that goes to run the bike it self. Your best bet if u want to run two 55 watts lights, is to have ur stator rewound. I think Ricky does it to bring ur stator to 210 watts. I thinks its around $100 to do that with your stator. Or u could run 2 HID units on your bike I like have. I have a sub frame that stays on the bike and then I have my light ring thats holds two 8inch Maxtel lights converted to HID. It takes less then a minute to slide it the holes and pin it, and plug it in. I can post some picts, if u want to see my first Generation. I also build them for my buddy's banshee and 250r.
