Won't start with aftermarket rev box

Ok guys first post here,Well I've got a 05 trx450r the problem is put aftermarket rev box on it and it wont start. Then tried it on a friends bike runs great???? have checked wires all look ok.Runs good on stock cdi:confused: :confused: :confused:

What year is your friends quad? Does his quad run with your stock CDI? Does his stock CDI work in your quad?
