Float probably stuck. Give the carb a good cleaning.

What do you mean it's coming from the exhaust pipe?

should I just spray carb cleaner into the air intake?

i had the same thing happen with my 450r carb the entire time we were down at little sahara dunes.. the surface that the float needle mates to gets garbage in it.. mine came from making my own temporary fuel hose :p . that was an expensive problem.

the problem was caused because i have a 450r carb, and the fuel hose broke, so i made a new one, but the line i had wouldn't fit over the gas inlet, so i drilled out the line a little bit. there were obviously still some shavings in there, and they kept clogging my float needle, so it couldn't completely close. take off your float bowl, then the float, and a piece with a pointed rubber tip will come with it. thats your float needle. the hole that the needle goes into needs to be cleaned out. it could take a few times, but eventually mine was fixed. i had gas in my pipe too btw.. thats what i meant by an expensive problem. i lost a lot of gas. worst fuel mileage ever. :grr: ask away if you have any questions.

The bowl can be removed with the carb installed but it isn't real easy. Those little screws can be real tight. Loosening the clamps and turning the carb helps.
