I changed my oil, and now my quad smokes

because...? I changed my oil and now when i start my quad when it's cold my quad smokes a lot, especially when the choke is in...
prolem?

i completly drained out all the old. it sat there for about an hour just draining, so it was just little drips left. i used 10w40...i think. which is the most common, and the same one i used last time

when does it start only when you start eand then till it warms up or all the time?

only when i start it up. and if the choke is in, it smokes a LOT, otherwise, starting it regularly it just smokes a little, but then it goes away once the quad is warm.

are u sure u didnt overfill? if not u might need valve seals, if its smoking while the motor is hot ull be needing rings i would do a compression test

what color is the smoke?

its perfect, im positive i didnt overfill. as i said, it doesnt smoke when the engine is hot. and it didnt start smoking till i changed my oil! which pisses me off. and im pretty sure the smoke is white. ill have to recheck tho to clarify

whit smoke isnt oil...its coolent or water...? where would tht come from?
