Who here uses a swingarm skid for mx? right now im using the stocker but every race it looses about an inch from ruts. What works best for mx?

I ran a PRM it has the best clearance but i looked around at the races and almost all the race bike were bare with a chain guide.Ill be doing the no gaurd this year because i did get hung up on the dirt corners at times.

I use no swinger skid for MX.
Just a TM designs chain roller/guide.

One of my friends runs an LSR swinger skid for mx on his LSR outlaw swingarm.
I'm not sure if it only works on that swinger though.
It only protects the sprocket and rotor, no linkage protection.
But it has great ground clearance compared to most other skids, so you won't dragging in the ruts/berms.

GTT also makes a small 2 piece rotor / sprocket guard setup.

no skid plate for mx.. does your mx track have big rocks in it???

dirt won't hurt... even with a skid plate trust me it will see dirt.

lonestar setup!!!!! I love it. Sprocket guard and rotor guard!!! Best thing ever!!!! I use it in Xc though, so its a different story i guess. I need all the GC i can get, but then again, so do you.... :p
