i have a 2004 honda 400ex my first quad, i noticed its starting to smoke, i know theres something wrong but not sure what. someone told me to use a heavier oil , 15w50 is that a good choice, or do i have to rebuilt the engine, if anyone has any tips that would be great thanks, Matt

Is it smoking all the time or just after you start it and it stops after warm up? If it stops that's pretty normal for 400ex's but if it is all the time then you might have a problem.
