Well, I wouldnt bank on houser... I bought a set of houser + .5 a few months ago and all they had was like 3 or 4 sets of red ones left and i ordered one lol. The guy i ordered em through said that they had stopped makin the regular long travels... THe slicasts use 18.5s and the only thing houser that uses 19.5 is the +2 and +3.... which i guess is ok for moto x but didnt work for my xc setup

ok, lets say i have a shock that is 19.5 and i buy a-arms that set up for 20.5

will they work and just make the bike sit an inch lower?

I think leverage ratios is gonna matter the most.I think that is gonna have a huge play in how good the shocks will work.To do it right call a good shock builder tell him what u have and see what he recommends for arms and then have them revalved for that front end.

no you dont want an a arm for 20 inch shocks.. if yours are 19.5 the closest your going to get is houser, smc, JD, and laeger. those are all around 19.5 to 19.75

i know for a fact that the atv four plays gen2 a arms require a 19.5" shock. Gibsons require a 19.25". jb racing require a 20". hopefully that gives you somewhat of an idea

SMC +2's call for a 19.75 to 20" shock.Youll be fine. You can always make up the .25" with ride height adjustment.

I'll be the *****. Why would you buy shocks first without knowing what arms to get or if they will even work on your application?

My bad....sounded as if you already bought them.

I have houser +2's on my 05 with Elka 19.5" shocks. There is a guy on ebay, from Jersey I think, that sells Houser for a STEAL. I bought LT Arms and +2 stem for like $800 shipped. Might have been less, can't remember...I'm getting old. :( :D

call the guy directly and tell him what you want. It looks as if the prices may have went up a bit, but I haggled a while and he is a really cool guy to deal with.
