Did you happen to PM norcalduner about the tank? He posted a thread about parting out a really low hour 89 250r that was stored in a climate controlled storage for the last couple years. Might be a long shot, but its worth a try.... Hope this helps.

Here's the nicest one I have. It is from an 89R, and could use some cleaning. It has been stored for years.

Near perfect might be a stretch on it, though. Judge for yourself.
