I need to get sprokets for a 50 air cooled. This will be used for TT racing and I also have 12x800x6 tires on this bike.

On Zack's TT bike (70cc) I run a 26 Front and a 23 or 24 back with Burris 12x8x6. For the front sprocket I went to are local farm and fleet store and bought some 428 sprockets 20 to 26 tooth. I turned down a spare front sprocket to match the dia. of the Fram/Fleet sprockets. Then drilled through the seams in 3 places. I used "shoulder" bolts to hold them from moving.

The back sprocket I use a go cart set up.

I hope this helps. If you want I could post some pics of the set up.

Sorry you are going to have to wait, the tool box with the TT sprockets are in the trailer and coverd in snow. Give me a couple of days and I will dig it out. Or call me and I will explain how to do it. paul 716 574 9674

I took a couple of pics for you. The last pic is the rear Taper Lock style we use. Hopes this helps.

find yoursef the kasea output shaft and use that to obtain your sprocket size for the front, there are many sizes available for these output shafts ive seen a few that look like thee size of a circular saw blade, lolim sure you will find a sprocket maker that can get the sizes you want

Depending how much motor work you have done or what pipe you are running will determine how much gear you will be able to use.

Tracks like Ashtabulla and Oil City have straight aways that are 800ft plus. I like to overdrive the bike and let Zack pass on the straights. Last year at ashtabulla they clocked Zack on his 70cc doing 49mph at the 600 foot mark and was just starting to wind out. He still had 200 more feet to go into a banked turn. They said he was not letting off till just about into the turn. I know he was well over 50mph.

One thing I have learned is to run your go cart tires at around 14/15 psi. It helps the kids slide thru the turns. Zacks lap times went way down after we pumped them up.

Try different setups. I use a stopwatch and take the average of 3 laps when not in traffic.
