"WTB" Stock 400ex Carb

Looking for a mint shape stock 400ex carb, That I can drop in my 440ex and just rejet it for the 440kit. Im not looking for any modified stock carbs or anything.

Still looking for a Stock Carb that is clean, and not all exodized from the eather elements. I want to be froma runnign machine, not one thats been sitting on your bench for who knows how long...

I am runninga 2001 Honda 400ex with a White Brothers 440 kit in it. And I have an LRD full exhaust. I know nothing about jetting carbs, so if someone could link me to where I can learn? that would be great

Ifi yours is already jetted higher to allow more fuel, what would be great to and start me off int eh right direction.

I Need one that will replace my edelbrock carb, cause it is broke and I dont really care for it.

The carb does not have to have the boot on it. I got that.

Why dont you put in a 450r carb. i did that with my 400ex with a hotcam in it and it run awsome.

I hear/see you have to do some modding or something? I just want to me able to drop it in and start it up.

With the 450R carbs, do you have to do any modding to hoses or anythign?

All you have do is cut the choke yellow lever because it hits the frame. But on 400ex you don't even use the choke that much. Also you have to get a new throttle cable because the 400ex are different or hope that the new come with one. I think thats all i did with it. But if you are thinkign about going that way i have a carb for you if you are interested.

no you dont have to do any modding with hose the carb just fits in.

I let this thread go for a while, the snow is melting, going to be riding soon.

Still looking for a stock carb with all the breather tubes on it and stuff. Would be nice if it came with a jet kit of some kind since Ill be starting off jetting the main bigger 2 more then stock for my 440ex.
