kfx suspension ?

I have a 2003 kfx 400 and have 1 major complaint, the stock shocks are horrible!!! I've tried different settings and still no luck. I ride with a couple 450's and a 500 and it's like night and day. Does anyone have a solution to this problem without spending a fortune? i just bought my first house and really can't afford a set of elka's. Will shocks from any other model fit?:confused:

ltr450 shocks fit and, trx450r shocks should fit to if they're the same size as 250r's

for the rear turn the dials a little bit to make them stiffer... as for the fronts, your kinda screwed. you need to upgrade, bigtime. invest in some newer 2005 kfx400/ltz400 shocks, honda 450r shocks, or the suzuki ltr450 shocks fit as well. i have a set of 450r shocks on my quad with a gtthunder rebuild from gtthunder.com and its an amazing upgrade. ill throw up pics for ya soon
