Where do you cut and also what tool do you use.Don't want to screw my fenders up to bad.

i always use a "fine" tooth hacksaw blade .no saw just the blade in ur hand.and a dremel with a aluminum bit to clean it up if necessary. as far as where to cut thats ultimately up to you .

i used a jigsaw and cleaned it up with an electric sander, then fine sand paper. mine looks good but i cut a little too much off.

Exactly what i was gonna do.

use a hack saw.

dad keeps sayin i'm gonna get rocks in the face do any one with there fenders cut have that problem?

no it's not a problem for me. i love mine being cut, and i ussually just ride trails. i don't even notice getting any muddier than with them on. but my front end was soooo wide the fenders weren't doing anything anyway. i like seeing where the tires are and seeing the suspension move.

Yeah I think i'm gonna cut mine soon....I'll probly wait till winter is over....

nope no rocks . if im sliding real aggresive and hit some slimy mud it will kick up but that has only happened once .

i dont have cut fenders and every once in a while i will see a rock fly up just outsid the fenders, and once in a great while rocks will hit my shins, but not often enough to keep me from wanting to cut them

use a dremel. Also you dont get that much dirtier. The only thing is whenever i seem to ride with no goggles, mud always gets in my eye but when i have my goggles on they are clean. :huh

be careful not to cut to much off. a couple of my friends told me i cut a little to much, and you can't fix it. but i still think it looks nice. i had to cut them off because i broke where they mount, and they were just hanging.

You might want to put either masking tape or with
a wax pencil mark the area that is going to be cut. So this way you could get an idea on how
much you are taking off and it will act as a guide.
