440 or 426 honda 400ex

Just wanted to know which to buy, looking for more power, I already have jets and a full pipe. just want some more torque kinda leaning tward the 440, this way I wont regret getting a 426 and wanting more power. let me know what you guys think

the valve train in the 400ex isn't large enuff to handle a 440, plus u cut down on reliablity, the head studs pull, the head gaskets blow,and it costs a lot more to have it sleeved than just boring 80 or a 120 over.unless ur porting the head and replacing the seats and putting in larger valves u can make just as much hp with a 416 or 426! u also can stroke the crank, if ur willing to split the cases, u have to run a matched piston to the stroke u run.
