need help with gearing

im getting a sprocket and chain kit for my yamaha blaster. I was wondering what size sprockets to get for acceleration. I do all trail riding so i dont need top end. thank you.

13 or 12 in front

the factory gearing is 13 front and 40 rear. i was thinking about either leaving the front at 13, and adding 2 teeth to the rear, or taking a tooth from the front and adding 1 to the rear. I'm so confused with this ****. I need help asap!

It's one of those things where you just have to do it and see what happens. I would start with the front they're alot cheaper in case you don't like it.

I'd start with dropping 1 in the front. If that's geared too low, then you can get a smaller rear to get inbetween the two. ;)

fronts are cheaper to buy id gop down one in the front 1 tooth up or down is like 3 up or down in the rear ie 12 = 43
13 = 40
14 = 37 roughly
