wow!! sorry about that didnt meen to be an insult. I know that they dont make any for the fullbores anymore. do they not make any 250r stuff at all?

It was mounted on a set of one piece front Maiers, but yeah I'm pretty sure it's made for stock plastic.

Sorry to bring up an old post again.

Couple of Questions:

1-Do you still have the Quadtech hood F/S????

2-What do you mean you had it mounted to the one-piece maier front fenders? I have a brand new set of these laying around, and if I can mount a Quadtech hood to them, I'd be all over it.
I thought they were for 2 piece fenders? If that is the case, can a 400EX hood work, if they are bolted to the one-piece maier hood?

3-Does Quadtech UK ship to the states?

4-Who's makes the knock-off hoods? EDIT - I found them... feather carbon and MA#L-tech.

It's sold.

The normal one piece maier had holes drilled in it and thats how it was put on there.

Yeah, me too. I don't understand why Bill at Quadtech doesn't make them anymore. I don't understand the logic, its the hood that started Quadtech's whole business.

I found a couple on ebay, but they are all scratched up for 150 bucks...

I would have never dreamed that I would have problems find aftermarket parts for an 89 Fourtrax, the most sought after quad of all time.

I would buy one from Andy for the fullbores, but I just bought all new plastic. :grr:
